1 thessalonians - Return - BIBLE SUMMARY WITH ART

 Paul writes the Thessalonian believers thanking them for turning from idols and imitating the apostles to worship the true and living God, Jesus.

 He thanks them for their loyalty and holding to the words of apostles as God's word through persecution, Paul regretfully tells them he wont be able to visit .

Timothy was sent to them in the mean time and reported the good news of the Thessalonian's faithfulness back to Paul  

 Paul exhorts them to live holy, believers in Christ grieve differently than unbelievers with a hope of future bodily resurrection at Christ's return announced with  angel's  trumpet.

 Christ's return (The day of the Lord) will be sudden and drastic,  those outside of Jesus will face God's wrath, so Christians should live accordingly preparing for this.

 Paul praises their enduring enlarged faith, reminds that God will judge righteously in flaming fire all who disobey the gospel of Jesus.

 Paul assures that the day of the Lord has not occured until the man of lawlessness (the antichrist) declares himself to be God in the temple deceiving many.

 Therefore avoid unruly brethren,  live an honest disciplined life, work for your food, and disassociate all brethren who don't follow Paul's instructions.

 Paul tells the Thesselonian believers to endure persecution in holiness because Christ will return to judge countering  claims that death ends all and there is no future judgment. 

 Paul urges Timothy to  guard the apostolic doctrine  (imputed righteousness / holy living) and to teach it to others, countering false teachers who oppose based on self elevation under the Law misinterpreted.
