 A father gives advice to his naive son, wisdom (God's voice) is personified as a woman calling on the street warning of consequences of not heeding her.

 The father equates the wisdom offered to the fear and kowledge of God, the woman wisdom (spiritual truth) is the only counter to the adulterous woman (sinful physical desires).

   Trust in the Lord  (God's wisdom), lean not on your own understanding (human wisdom) , don't be wise in your own eyes,  revelation will watch over and take care of you. 

Listen carefully, honor wisdom while you are young and she will honor you in the path of life,  avoid the path of the wicked, be honest and straightforward.

 The adulterous woman seems pleasant but ends up very bitter, avoid her at all cost, her path leads to destruction, God sees the ways of everyone.

 Be honest, and hard working for your neighbor's sake,  like the ant, pondering  these teachings (revelation) all day every day, (God's wisdom) keeps you from being decieved by the adulterous woman.

 Keep these teachings treasured, the adulterous woman is very seducing, cling to God's word to avoid her otherwise you will be an ox going to the slaughter.

 Wisdom cries out truth and righteousness at the gates of the city and in all of creation  from eternity past, cling to it more than silver or gold

 Wisdom has set the table and invites all to abandon their foolishness and enjoy,  the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

 The wise and the foolish are contrasted in their work habits, communication, pursuit of knowledge,  and their ultimate destiny.

 The Lord is honest and straightforward, righteousess not wealth is valuable to Him, be kind,  giving, honest,  God will judge the cruel and wicked.

 The contrast of the wise (heed God's revelation) and foolish  (follow sensuous desires) are detailed in many areas of how they live life.

  The contrast of the wise (follow God's word) and the fool (reject God's word) continue including  control of speech,  acceptance of cousel and work related rewards.

  The wise are honest not deceitful,  the fool mocks,  the wise fear the Lord , the fool believes everything, the wise man tests and is cautious, the fool lives for today, the wise has refuge in death.

The lips of the wise spread knowledge, the fool spouts folly,  better is little with the fear of the the Lord, than riches without Him, He will destroy the house of the proud.

  The proud man looks good to himself, the wise humbly fears God, God judges motives, the wise treasures God and God directs his path, the fool disgards revelation.

  The Lord tests the heart like a refiner looking for gold and silver he who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous,
both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord. 

  The wise and the fool, the rich and the poor are contrasted,  before destruction the heart of man is haughty,  but humility goes before honor .

  Everyone loves you when you succeed, the fear of the Lord leads to life,  judgments are prepared for the fool and the scoffer.

   Listen to counsel and accept discipline that you may be wise the rest of your days, a righteous man walks in his own integrity, fools take shortcuts and will ultimately fail.

 A man's way is right in his own eyes but the Lord measures the heart , the fool is set in his way  haughty in his own sight the righteous receives instruction.

   The reward of humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, honor and life,  he who sows iniquity will reap vanity with thorns and snares.

  Be carefull eating with rulers, the discipline of a child rescues him from Sheol, but live in the fear of the Lord always, be wary of wine it sparkles in the cup but stings like a viper.

  Stay away from the wicked, wisdom is like honey to the soul, don't show partiality in judgment, do not rejoice when your enemies fall.

  It is better to assume a lowly position and be exalted than the opposite,  a wise reprover to a listening ear is like gold, aiding your enemy is like heaping  burning coals on his head.

  Fools are not to be honored, reasoned with, trusted or hired , be kind straightforward and gracious, one who devises treachery will be destroyed by treachery.

Boasting about tomorrow is arrogant, a friends wounds are faithful an enemies kiss is deceitful,  a contentious women is like a constant drip, restrain her, iron sharpens iron.

  The wicked and cowards are numerous, the righteous are bold nde rare,  never turn from the Law, be blessed when you fear God always, he who trusts his own heart is a fool.

  If a king judges the poor with truth,
his throne will be established forever.  A man’s pride will bring him low, but a humble spirit will obtain honor.   

   Who has gathered the wind in His fists and the waters in His garments?  every word God has tested, do not add or take away from it, critter behaviors are expressed  to reflect God's character.

   Judge righteously,
and defend the rights of the afflicted and needy, an excellent woman is described,  a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.

   150 songs of worship praise God for who God is (Praise Psalms) or ask how long until God establishes His justice and rule permanently (Lament Psalms)   

   The preacher points to the futility of mans actions as fulfillment of the curse from the garden of Eden, fulfillment cannot be achieved on earth outside of God's redemption.
