Ecclesiastes - Dust - BIBLE SUMMARY WITH ART

All is vanity says the preacher, all man's work under the sun will ultimately turn to dust (the curse from Gen 3), there is nothing new under the sun. 

 The futility of pleasure and possesions are spelled out,  the wise man exceeds the fool but both will end in dust, and the fruit of ones labor might be left to either a fool or wise man.

 There is an appointed time for all things good and bad, yet God set eternity in the heart of man, everything in the meantime is a gift of God 

 The one who has never been born is better than the one oppressed or the oppressor,  a lazy fool or the hard worker are ultimately chasing after the wind, two are better than one.

 Guard your words and vows carefully with God,  wealth never satisfies, all come and leave naked, find satisfaction in work and be happy with the lot in life God gives you.

Under the sun all is meaningless, the still born is better the man who toils but never enjoys his work, all pass through life like a shadow.

Wisdom and folly are explored, sorrow is better than laughter, all end in mourning, who can discover God's ways the wise and the foolish both end in death, fear God, .God created mankind upright,
but they have gone in search of many schemes 

Obey kings they are subject to God, fear God the days under the sun of the fool and wise are  both numbered, eat drink and be merry in the days that God has given.

All under the sun end in death, your reward in life is the toil , whatever you do,  do it heartly in white clothes enjoy your wife, God has approved your work.

In this section wisdom and folly are compared and contrasted, and the author points out the obvious errors of the exalted fool and humbled wise man. 

 Life is fleeting, work diligently in the morning and evening, rejoice in the light when while you can, everything to come will be futility.

  Remember God in your youth,  the preacher was sent to pass along wisdom,  fear God and keep His commandments every act will be judged.

 A naive young man is taught to seek the wisdom of God personified in the woman wisdom contrasted with following his lusts and desires which the adulterous woman appeal to.
