 Paul and Timothy thank the Philipi believers for partnering in gospel,  his chains have built believer's confidence, he exorts them to live worthy of the gospel of Jesus.

 Therefore imitate Christ's humility and do everything with pure motives without grumbling, I (Paul)  am sending recently ill Epaphroditus, instead of Timothy to you.

 Paul, a Hebrew of Hebrews, warns of evildoers who promote circumcision and keeping of Law (fleshly),  follow Paul's example of righteousness only in Jesus and live only for this.

Rejoice in the Lord always, dwell on whatever is good and pure, thanks for your gifts (to Paul) it has helped promote the gospel.

   Paul writes the Ephesian believers so they include Gentile believers but not practice sinful Gentile traditions,   imprisoned under Gentile authority he instructs them to  follow all authorities for sake of  the gospel , this is God's plan, his imprisonment is furthering the gospel. 

   Paul writes to  Colossian believers and warns them  against Jewish legalist who  keep the Law for righteousness, he tells them their righteousness is in Christ and to live Holy for the sake of the gospel.
