John the Baptist is the wilderness voice that Isaiah prophesied, he baptizes Jesus  who begins preaching in the synagogue, Jesus calls some disciples and heals many.

 Jesus first forgives the sins of paralytic and then heals him to prove his authority, he calls Matthew to follow him and contends with Pharisees over proper Sabbath recognition with wheat.

 Jesus heals a man with a withered hand on the Sabbath then He chooses His 12 disciples,   He comes home and is accused by the scribes of performing miracles by Beelzebub's power.

 Jesus tells the parable of the sower and the soil and explains it, God's message for believers bearing fruit, Jesus tells two other short seed parables and calms a raging storm.

 Jesus casts the demons of Geth from possessed man into swine that all drown, He healed a hemorrhaging woman and  raised a small girl from the dead.

 Jesus teaches and commissions the twelve.  the fate of John the Baptist is narrated, Jesus walks on water and heals many.

 Jesus contends with Pharisees over what defiles a man what they eat or their heart,  He cast a demon out of a girl, and heals deaf man. 

 Jesus miraculously feeds four thousand, Jesus warns the disciples of the leaven of the Pharisees who seek a sign, Peter confesses Jesus as the Christ (Messiah).

 Jesus is transfigured on  a high mountain with Elijah and Moses,  Jesus cast out a spirit from a boy,  He foretells his own death and warns against causing stumbling of spiritually young.

 When asked about divorce Jesus explains marriage is ordained from Eden and divorce is sin, He receives children,  foretells suffering, requires brokenness from rich young ruler, and heals blind.

 Jesus enters Jerusalem triumphantly on colt as prophesied,  he expels money changers from temple and defends His authority to the scribes using John's baptism.

 Jesus tells parable of vine growers to illustrate rejection by Israel, Jesus defends resurrection of saints and summarizes the Law (love the Lord completely and neighbor as self) then He tells of widow's mite.

 Jesus foretells the future to the disciples including destruction of temple, they will personally suffer for Jesus,  there will be a great tribulation for many, and after this he will return  in clouds.

   Jesus celebrates Passover which becomes the Lord's supper, Jesus anguishes in  Gethsemane garden, is betrayed,  falsely accused by counsel, and Peter denies Jesus as foretold.

 Jesus is charged before Pilate,  He is mocked  by Roman guards then others He is crucified at Golgotha under dark skies He dies,  and is buried by a prominent man Joseph.

Mary Magdalene visits the tomb and discovers the risen Jesus, Jesus appears to commission the disciples , believing this good news saves any and all and disbelieving condemns any and all.  

    Jesus is introduced as the long awaited Davidic Messiah  (Christ) under gentile rule ,  he dies for Israel (who rejected Him) and is resurrected , his message of imputed righteousness is for all who believe in him. 

     Jesus the lord of the sabbath gives release to the downtrodden, enslaved, and captives, Jesus (rejected by Pharisees and  Israel) is killed,  resurrected in Jerusalem, his disciples are to carry his message forth.
